PERMANENT MAKEUP AND MEDICAL
TATTOO SPECIALIST

I' M HERE TO ENHANCE YOUR NATURAL BEAUTY!

Hi, i'm Kay Smith, a certified cosmetic and medical tattoo artist based in Ulverston, Cumbria.

I have worked in the beauty industry since 2005 and have spent the last decade mastering and perfecting the craft of Eyebrow, Eyeliner, Lip Blush and 3D Nipple and Areola tattooing.

It is used to restore confidence, define eyebrows, eyes and lips and can create a subtle natural look to a more defined, glam look. There is something suitable for all clients.

Having perfectly shaped eyebrows, defined eyes and smudge free lip colour could save you valuable time and give you that feel good factor everyday.

I feel very honoured to be a sponsored artist for the Tata Foundation charity. This enables me to offer 3D Nipple and Areola tattooing to breast cancer patients free of charge. It's so rewarding to say the least.

I enjoy personalising each clients needs and love to see the smiles at the end!

I have a mountain of certificates and believe in continuous learning and growth. Never stop learning!

Please have a look around my site, and if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me.

WHAT IS PERMANENT MAKEUP?

Permanent makeup, also known as Micropigmentation and Semi Permanent makeup. They are all forms of cosmetic tattooing to create long - lasting eyeliner, lip colour or eyebrow definition.

Permanent makeup is performed using a digital machine that implants hypoallergenic pharmaceutical grade pigments into the top layer of the skin.

I use inorganic permanent makeup pigments to give natural results and are designed to fade over time. A colour boost is recommended every 1-3 years to refresh the colour and shape.

A traditional body tattoo is designed to be in the skin permanently, using tattoo inks which have a higher pigment load.

THE TREATMENT PROCESS

All treatments are bespoke to you.

Starting with a free consultation, i will go through the procedure in more detail, talking about colours, styles and shape to give you an idea on the results that could be achieved.

All new treatments are a 2 part process.

THE INITIAL TREATMENT

- Takes between 2-3 hours

- Anesthetic cream is applied

- Choose the colour that best suits your skin tone and the desired results

- Map the shape using a pencil so you can see the shape before starting

- Perform the treatment

- Go through the aftercare and give home care product

- The healing process takes 6 weeks.

THE RETOUCH TREATMENT

- Carried out 6 weeks after the initial treatment

- Anesthetic cream is applied

- Apply more colour if needed

- Tweak the shape if needed

- The healing process is the same as the initial treatment.

I then recommend a Colour Boost every 1-3 years to refresh the shape and colour.
